Chuma is born.
1863
Chuma and Dr Livingstone sail in the Lady Nyassa 2,500 miles from Zanzibar to Bombay
1873
Dr. Livingstone dies in a village over a thousand miles from the coast. His body is mummified for the journey back to Great Britain and his heart is buried in Africa
May 1974
Chuma and Susi arrive in London.
